Looking for Marion
« on: Sunday 02 December 07 11:16 GMT (UK) »
I wonder if someone might be able to help me  :-[? I am looking for 2 people i think they might have been born in Yorkshire somewhere.

The first one is Annette Noble aged 14 in the 1901 Census. the other is  Charles W Parker  17 in the 1901 census. I would like to know who the parents were and if there was any siblings on either side.

They had a child Marion Noble Parker b. May 11 1908 but i can't find anything about them, or Marion. I have been looking for Marion for 20 years for none Genealogical reasons.

There seems to be some confusion on my part  ??? As i only have very few facts.

So Please Please !!! can anyone help me.

                             Thankyou. Lynn.

Sorry !! The census is Leeds, I don't have access to none free records.

Just a thought - Marion might also appear in records as Mary Ann or Marianne.

Hello Lynn

Do you have the marriage cert for Charles William Parker and Annetta Noble
Q3 1905 Leeds, vol 9b, page 1035??.   If not that would give you their father's names

What bit of info I have, from word of mouth is that Marion was born May 11 1908. Leeds, and died Aug 16 1957 Canada.

Her Mother Annette Noble had 6 siblings
Her Father Charles W Parker also had 6 siblings.
But like i say, this is just word of mouth.

I am wondering if the fact that her parents were so young, if something funny is going on.

Was Marion born out of wedlock.???

Is there any marriage details for them in Leeds???
I wish i could find out more as it has been very frustrating for me.

                                  Lynn.

Hi Lynn

There is a Marion Parker Noble registered Q2, 1905 in Leeds, vol 9b, page 502.  Her parents may have married just after she was born.  I'll double check the quarter on the marriage again.
