Knitting needles and marbles. I used the needles for fencing and the marbles for animals, that was my first farm.

I also used to play Rag, Tag, and Bobtail, with my brother and sister under the kitchen table.   It's funny how all this stuff is coming back to me through this thread.

It was some kind of malt extract and I had to have a spoonful every day

Ohh...it was this lovely brown syrupy stuff made from malt extract..it was delish......and supposed to keep you healthy.......yum

If we were under the weather we had to have a drink made of mother's Sanatogen and hot milk with a shot of Johnny Walker Red!
