cheers  ;D that looks promising.  Unfortunately none of her dates match - she would have been 61 in 1851 and 51 in 1841.

The only definite record I have of her is the 1871 Census when she's living with her daughter & family.  That records her age as 70 when it should have been 81 ???  Her death certificate below shows her correct age.

Death cert. No.31
Euphemia MARTIN, wid. James MARTIN, agricultural labourer
d.1875, Jan 20th, 27 Canmore St., Forfar, ANS, age 86.
f. ---------- STEEDSMAN, town's officer (Kinross).
m. ----------
cod.paralysis.
inf.Thomas MARTIN, eldest son, 3 Lappiedub, Forfar.
reg.1875, Jan 22nd, Forfar, ANS

I have been trying to track Euphemia (and possibly husband James) for years.  I had hoped to find them both on the 1841 but no luck so far :-\  I also have been unable to find any other children.  I have quite a lot of info on son Thomas and daur. Elspeth but nothing on John :(
