Hi thanks again for the help.

I actually know Clive quite well and have just heard via Clive and that some of the Sanders ancestors from the Seychelles have been in touch to say there is a link.

The families for those who may be interested are:
Sanders
Morel
Houreau
D'Emmerez de charmoy; and
Delorie

These are my father's family and ancestors and I'm looking forward to using this excuse to perhaps get a good rate on a room in the ritzy hotel which was once our family plantation house! LOL

I'll let you know when I've managed to work out where Marie and Lina Sanders family came from prior to the Seychelles.  I have a sneaking suspicion they were post-British colonisation and thus were perhaps English.
