Hi Stewart, I am quite happy to wait at least a few days for the info on marriage dates.
                   Could you tell me if their is a webb site where I can find where my relatives are buried in Jersey. Most of them were RC coming from France although Jeanne Marie I believe was a Hugenot. Some ended up in Geurnsey.

Afternoon Peter

The marriage of William James Cooper and Amelia Harriet Lewis took place at St Helier Registry Office on 4th Nov 1905.

WJC was 24, a bachelor and a Gunner R.G.A. by profession. His residence was given as Fort Regent, St. Helier and his birth as London. His father was Henry James Cooper and was a soldier.

AHL was 21 and a spinster. No profession was given  and she resided in St. Helier but was born in St. Martin (Jersey). Her father was George Lewis and was a storeman.

The witnesses were Alfred Skinner and Alice Rush.

Joseph William Martin married Eva May Lewis at All Saints Church (St. Helier) on 3rd Sep 1921.

JWM was aged 30 and a bachelor. His profession was an Engineer and his residence and birth was given as St. Helier. His father was James Mackin, a labourer.

EML was 22 and a spinster. No profession was stated. She was resident and born in St. Helier. Her father was George Lewis and his profession on this occasion was given as a painter.

The witnesses were George Lewis and Florence Osmond.

Hi Stewart, Thanks very much for your efforts that has filled a few blank spaces.
                   I wonder why Leocadie was not a witness with her husband George Lewis.
                    Leocadie was my GGaunty if their is such a thing.
