I am seeking information on my 2xGreat Grandfather James CAMPBELL. I have his death cert...he died on the 11th June 1884 in Durine, Durness, Scotland.

He married a Jane SUTHERLAND on the 28th Feb 1829 in Tongue, Sutherland, Scotland.

In the census it states his birth place as PLITHANY, IRELAND on one and KILKENNY, IRELAND on another.

His parents are documented as Robert CAMPBELL Soldier 87th Reg and Janet Campbell nee BENTON.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
