No...time for your lie down I think.

I can see a fingerprint to the right of the mule. It looks like Jack the Ripper's. And there is a bigger one near the mule's tail

Hi  I'm not at all sure the horse is a mule- ewe-necked & not much to look at, but to me it's a horse.  Hogged mane makes the neck look muleish & the nose looks a bit too Roman for yer average mule.  And it's big (OK I know mules can be big) - the rider's feet only come down to the girth.  So far as I can see, it's wearing an army issue bridle - the bit & attachments un-buckle, so the rest of the bridle can be used as a head-collar.  Could do with one for my horse

 :) Hi

Yep, I've spotted both of 'Jack the Ripper's' fingerprints, but only one 'monkey-looking' ghost face.  There appears to be some printed letters too.

As for his age, I'm trying to convince myself he  could be aged 24 years, but in reality I think he is a little older!   :D

Thanks for all your messages, if I look closely on the original the man in the front row on the extreme left does have a slightly upward curved regiment badge on his eppaulette but I cant read which one.

I saw that Gareth. It looks only a small number of letters. "RWF" would be right for the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.

I read that link about rifles I sent you, and it seems the Lee-Metford of this vintage would have a 10 shot magazinet, rather than eight. It also says that the Lee-Metford and the (Long) Lee-Enfield are indistinquishable, but I have always taken the Lee-Metford to have the fluted hand grip like this one.
