Missing page(s) on Ancestry BMD
« on: Sunday 09 December 07 18:08 GMT (UK) »
I'm sure it's not the only one  :)  I'm looking for the marriage of a George Hamer.  When I get the results for this name on Ancestry for all quarters 1929 they all open correctly except Q4.  It opens on the page PIC-PIK (page 10 of 105)  If I go back to page 1 of this set I get PEN-PEP.  Where are the 'H's" for this quarter?
Does anyone have a sneaky method for getting around this?  The marriage I'm looking for is probably in that quarter  ::)

Hi Jane

I resort to FindMyPast in these instances but here are a couple of threads that might help you find them:

Thanks Gadget.  I did think of Find My Past but I don't want to spend money on this if I can help it.  I'll try the two links you sent,
Thanks again,

jane

Hi Jane
If you go to the indexes and type in HADDEN for Q4 of 1929  that should get you to 1 of 95.  Page 9 is the HAMER marriages. Page 40 of 95 shows the HEGARTY marriages.  Nothing there I'm afraid :'(
