Thanks David, for that piece of logical deduction, eventually anyway.

Tell the truth I don't really recall noting the parents at Eliza's baptism, must have found the later children & assumed they all came from same pair. It was not until yesterday I really compared baptisms against marriage dates. I will check next time I'm at Archives.

Interesting about the Cox name, as Philip's wife Elizabeth Barker says her father was a Thomas Cox, shoemaker.

Hi there,

I'd just like to say thanks for all the information you have on Philip Woodham.  You've done a brilliant job and helped me fill in some holes.  My family line descends from Charles Woodham, youngest son to Philip and Elizabeth.

Have a good christmas everyone
Linda

Hello 2nd cousin Linda,

(not that you are my 2nd cousin - you are another distantly related cousin of sorts named Linda)

Glad the information was of use to you.  I suspect you are the Linda I found on Genes Reunited (funny I'm always finding Lindas  ;) ) regarding Eliza Woodham. I need to update my GrU tree with recently found information.

Regards John
