Sadie or Sarah

hello could anyone tell me if Sadie is/was a name that people named Sarah were called?
Such as Harry for Henry, Jack or Jock for John or Bill for William etc.

Sadie was a pet form of Sarah used in its own right from the end of the C19th onwards.
