Well J.J. if old Marion immigrated in 1878 she is doing a heck of a job hiding on the passenger lists. 

Perhaps their records aren't a transcription error but rather on one of the lists that was totally unreadable?

Either that or they were like Karen's family and used a row boat.....

actually the mother had stated 1878...( or 1874) first child born here circa 1877?
There is another posting on ship's listings for this family, but can't find it to link it just now  J.J.

I have already checked all the ships lists on that site J.J. ..... but I couldn't find them.  Perhaps someone else can.
