Hi

I am trying to find out the occupation of Arthur William Smithyes in Brighton. I have him as living at 8 Park Crescent Brighton in the 1930's!!!

Hello Yorkshirerose - sorry you have not had a reply to your query -
Do you perhaps know if he had any children whose birth certificate you could obtain, or his marriage cert, both of which would give his occupation.  Either of these might give you some idea of what he was doing in 1930.
