I see Augusta was registered as Augusta Susan Claxton Grass.

The IGI has member-submitted data according to which Maria's maiden name was Claxon. I wouldn't take it for Gospel though - the data don't look very well researched.

The mother is enthusiastic. Great work.
I haven't had a chance to get it all down yet but hopefully this weekend.
Augusta is already a fine old name but tied in with susan claxton glass it lends an air of distinction i feel.
