HARWOOD
« on: Sunday 02 January 05 12:32 GMT (UK) »
Is there anyone interested in this name from the UGTHORPE, Whitby area?  I have William HARWOOD born pre 1700, reputedly at UGTHORPE (but not corroborated).  His daughter, Mary, born 21 July 1717 at LYTHE married Richard ROGERS on 11 November 1738 at LYTHE.

Hi there,

Any connection to the HARWOODs from Seamer, Scarborough? My bunch would appear to be there in the late 1700's.

Hello Martin,

At the moment, I am firmly in the areas mentioned.  I will let you know if I come across a Seamer connection.

Thanks Bernard. It is a new link for me, so I might branch out further afield from Seamer as I dig deeper!
