William EDWARDS married Mary SAUNDERS 20 Apr 1872, St Mary HitchinThe Visitor in the 1891 EDWARDS houshoild : Verge SAUNDERS age 3
Is likely May Virginia SAUNDERS - Birth Reg Hitchin Jun Qtr 1888
She is very likely the missing "Mary V HART" age 3 from Henrietta and Alfred's 1891 Household!
So if this is corrrect - it looks like Henrietta was a SAUNDERS and perhaps may have been born in Middlesex though was taken back to Hitchin at a very young age?
Her mother - Mary EDWARDS? nee SAUNDERS? - or fomerley SAUNDERS nee??
But, where on earth did HOCKABIA come from!
The marriage cert of Henrietta and Alfred may help greatly now, especially to see where Henrietta married from, and witness' as well as name of a father if one is declared. The marriage of William EDWARDS and Mary SAUNDERS may now also be useful to get as the lead seems fairly strong.
Cheers
