Ok, what are the different accents and just how many are there?
Notts : Parnill / Parnell / Stendall / Scott / Redfern / Hyson / Dove / Farnsworth / Freeman
Lincs : Wallhead / Norton
Derbys: Wallhead / Chettle / Hubbuck / Newbold
Berks : Lovejoy / Lee
Shrops : Carless / Tolley / Wood
Staffs : Glover / Wood
Yorks : Booth

American, Australian, English, French, Irish, etc. etc. .. .. and in no particular order .. other than alphabetical!  :)

It's supposed to be the season of goodwill .. with a question like that we'd all be at each other's throats!  ;D ;D ;D

My South African almost-mother-in-law teases me about my accent. She says there are Ts and Hs in the alphabet and I should use them, and not glottal stops.

I tell her that there are 5 vowels, and she should try using all of them.

No probs - OH is there to translate....   ;D

Am I missing something here? Are you asking what our accents are kopperknob? And why is that likely to offend?

I'm Shropshire born and bred, and apparently my Northern friends think I sound Welsh :D  Hmmmm......not so sure about that!
