.gif files and email help required

Hi Downside, Daval 57,

Please excuse me for butting in, but I would love to be able to do these animated things on here!  I understand about the URL things, but I have been saving a lot of mine in a file.  They work when I put them in e-mails

But I can never get them to work on here.  I cannot even find them on the net!  Help Please where do I look!  Have tried googling and saving some of the nice ones, but then I am back to square one and have forgotten the URL thingy!  How can I find it again?  Are they stored anywhere is the searching thingy?

Try doing a Google search on the animated gifs filename and see if it turns up anything.

If they are old gifs then they may have been removed from the website where you obtained them.

Thanks for that, I will give it a go later on.  I have tried everything else I can think of all with Google or Ask!

I only got the ones I copied a few weeks ago, but did not realise about the URLs when I did them!
