Did she re-marry to her dead husbands brother

Do you think  this is the same family because it looks like she married her dead husbands brother
I am not sure but I think Samuel Harvey was her first husband.

In the 1871 census RG10 /2344 F86 P19.

I can't find a marriage to Samuel Harvey to prove it though, an Amelia Harvey married a George Henry Harvey in 1880 Penzance

Not sure if I have got confused or that she did marry her dead husbands brother

Any help would be appreciated as I haven't come across the before.

I note from Free BMD that in AMJ 1861 Penzance 5C 497, Samuel Harvey married either Jane Harvey or Amelia Harvey.

In JAS 1880 Penzance 5C 401, George Henry Harvey married either Amelia Harvey as you surmise, or Mary Oats.

With at least four Harveys involved with these marriages, it suggests that there was a pocket of them and there were perhaps cousins involved rather than brothers.

Looking at the death records for Samuel, it would appear that Samuel was a name much favored by the Harveys for their sons so you would be wise to look at the marriage certificates.

There does appear to be a pocket of them. perhaps both her first and second husband were cousins as you say. The further back I go, the worse it gets as the children have all been farmed out
