Is this the same person? Opinions required!

Hi All, 

Was wondering if anyone would mind taking a look at the two attached phtographs, and tell me if they think the man in both is the same person.

Photograph 1 is of my great grandfather Enoch Cuddy, and his wife, my great grandmother.
Photograph 2 is also apparently Enoch Cuddy, but taken some years earlier while he was in the army.

I think they are the same person, but others disagree. I would therefore appreciate any opinions and comments anyone might have!!!

Yes, I think the eyes are similar, also, the ears and the jawline look similar.

That is a very distinctive chin and it appears in both pictures!

Do you know the date of the picture with his wife?

Hi Paul,
I think the eyebrows have it too- and if you look -the right ear is higher than the left in both pictures - either that or I must stop slumping over this computer

For me - the eyes have it   (and the eyebrows!) Same man in my humble   opinion

Looks like the same man to me, I also noticed one ear higher than the other too... 
Same chin and eyes...
aged nicely and still can see its the same man
