Although the previous posting by me sounds rather pompous ... the situation is I believe a rather difficult one for Rootschat ... rather like finding yourself in the middle of a minefield with a very effective blindfold on.
Rootschat cannot legally flout copyright laws AND it cannot allow any one to use its facilities to flout such laws . Regardless of the country or countries involved.
This also extends to the provision of advice regarding the means to bypass any legal restrictions, Rootschat must be above reproach in order to survive and defend itself ..... and while a discussion regarding hypothetical and theoretical situations barely scrapes under the wire .... we all need to exercise a degree of care and respect the position of Rootschat on these and other matters.
