  I was wondering if anyone out there might be able to help me? I am looking for an Arthur Tibbles born 1903 in Cambridgeshire and married  my dads sister Dorothy Turnbull who was from Northumberland. i would be very gratefull for any info.

If you have the marriage cert then that should give Arthur's faathers name and occ -which would help narrow the search.

Are you certain Arthur was b Cambs -I can find no birth reg for Arthur 1903 cambs

I have found a death of Arthur frederick Tibbles in 1988 cambs (born 1903 -but don't know where)

Is there any more info you can give?

 :)The only info i have is that he was born in 1903 in Cambs and he married Dorothy Turnbull. There is no one left in my family to ask.

Do you know when he married Dorothy ?

If we can find his marriage reg -it will at least reveal whether he had a middle name

  Arthur was born in 1903 and Dorothy was born in 1924, so there was a big age gap, and they both died in 1988.

but the only Arthur Tibbles marriage I could see was in 1956 to Isabella Stevens in Huntingdon, so perhaps they married in Northumberland?
