Would you be able to tell me how far way Carlton is from Cranfield or Newport Pagnall?

And did they round ages up or down in 1841?

Carlton is about 9 miles NE of Newport Pagnell - so not far away. As for ages they were actually rounded down in 41- so 60 is 60-64. As she is staying with people who may have guessed her age and given you have some possible discrepancy in her age anyway, it is nothing to worry about. Her occupation is the biggest pointer to her being your Elizabeth but as David says more research needed on the family she is with etc.
