Hi Gladys

Just had another look.

Apart from the one in Lamesley that Pels found, there is this one that looks interesting. Not Robert but John - everything else seems to fit though:

5 Berkley Street, Jarrow, Co. Durham

RG12/4167 Folio 149 Page 26-27

John Ormston, 34, General labourer, b. Newcastle upon Tyne
Jane, 39, b. South Shields, Co. Durham
Mary A C, 9, b. Jarrow, Co. Durham
Elizabeth J, 4, b. Jarrow, Co. Durham
Ethel, 1, b. Jarrow, Co. Durham

I've looked for various spellings of Ormston.

Gadget  :-\

PS I see he was a boiler plate planer in 1881.

It's me again Gladys!  ;D

See what you think to this .. ..

Death, Jun qtr 1899
Robert Ormston, age 41
Tynemouth, Vol 10b, page 154

This Robert would have been born c.1858 .. I thought it might be worth a mention? It doesn't explain where he was in 1891 though .. ..

Pels  :)
