1881 census confusion

can some one sort out the confusion with the census record below.  Robert's 1st wife was Alison RAE.  She died in 1875...I think ::)  So which children are hers and which are Agnes' (don't know maiden name) and why 2 Catherines :-\

                    Too much wine in the veins still to figure out your questions. But the area you are researching is well served here in Tom Patterson's site, with Census records, and Marriages from 1723 to 1858.

Are you sure you're following the right family? All children to this couple show parents as Robert Russell and Agnes Kerr (Kerry with one). :-\
