Mother was Violet Dorothy Gliessert.

I am Susanne Yeing, I had 8 sisters and 3 brothers living when I was born in 1949 plus 1 brother deceased.

Mother's siblings were Blights, do not know much more than that, except what is on here.

Any one related I would love to here from you, I now know there is an Aunt in Queensland who is my fathers brothers wife.

Thank you for your help, i have managed to contact the wife of Frederick Henry  William Yeing, living in Qld, she is a delight 92 years young.

If it had not been for your help I would still be floundering.

Hi  My grandmother was Elizabeth Jane Blight eldest child of Helena Reid and John Blight. 2nd child Grace Mary Ann Blight, 3rd child John Edward Blight, 4th child Helena Agnes Jane-Maude Blight, 5th child John Henry William Blight, 6th child Esther Lovell Blight. My Father Edward Joseph William Davis was the 8th child of Elizabeth Blight and Arthur Davis. Edward Davis married Thelma Dansie at Wirrabara SA and had 3 children Maxwell John, Barry Edward, and Jennifer Thelma.

I have managed to contact Caroline Yeing, she live in Bunderberg and will 93 in Feb, she was married to my Father's brother.

Mother's sister was Florence Blight, we all called her auntie Babe, i know there was an Ada Blight sister (maybe  Aida) and Grant her brother but other than that no information. Mother was  Violet Gliessart.

Finally have confirmation that Elizabeth Jane belonged to John and Helena DAVIS nee Reid, thankyou 

I'm related through the REID family.   Helena's sister Catherine was my GGGrandmother and she married Thomas Stuart SMITH.

I have a little bit on your side of the family and would be happy to swap some information.

 I have been trying to trace my family history for some time without much sucess. Unable to get back any further than Arthur Davis on the Davis side of the family, and Adam Reid on the Blight side of the family. I would love to find out When they came to Australia and from where.
