Yes, she has a very trim waist. I will try posting her on the restoration board then and see what the RC Trinny and Susannahs can do with her.

photography came about (commercially) in 1841 the style of card coupled with the pose of the sitter, clothing and hair style is of a far different date that 1841. The style of sleeving with its full length and kick up at the shoulder seam would indicate to me a date line more in keeping with between 1889 and 1893. The skirt that she is wearing would also indicate this date line to me as it has a flat appearance whereas the skirt line in the 1840's were of the Crinoline style full and hooped.

 So it looks like this was taken nearer the end of her life which rather fits with what I have always suspected.

Well I think she looks at least that Lydart but then I know how difficult it is to judge peoples ages even today so I thought it was worth getting a second opinion.

Have a look at Queen Victoria in photographs taken towards the end of her life and see how long her ears are as a point of comparison.

Just looking at her face she is much older than 37 however looking at her body I would say she is possibly 35 to 45 ish.

If she is really in her 60's then what a great body she has, as most peoples waistlines fill out with age. Unless she was into keep fit exercises to keep her body shape

The photo was taken 1890 +/-, she was born 1806 ergo she is about 84
