Hi Glenavid
Welcome to Rootschat :)
There is a Frederick C Aylott age 26 married to an Emma 32 living in Bedford in 1901 who could well be your man as there is a death of Emma Aylott born c 1869 in Bedford Jun qtr 1902. I can't see his marriage to Eleanor Childs on FreeBMD but it shouldn't be too difficult to find searching through the complete images between 1902 and 1915 - you can do this free on Ancestry even if you aren't a subscriber, just register.
Do you need the census details? Happy to post them here for you if you do.
Jan ;)

I concur with Jan,  Frederick Charles Aylott b 1875 married Emma Wells b 1869 in Apr/Jun 1898 at Biggleswade . While there are two Emma's on the page the other Emma, Emma Robinson/Roberson born 1879 Southill married John William Slaney.   Regards John

Hepburn,  that's because first wife Emma died in 1902  as found by Jan, & Frederick Charles Aynott married Eleanor Childs some time before 1915 - but that's not yet found. Perhaps Glenavid knows ?

There are no children with Frederick and Eleanor in 1901 so likely the first Nellie Louisa died - there is no candidate for her in 1901 and there is a death of an Ellen Louise Aylott in Bedford in Sep qtr 1899 age 0 which is probably her as Nellie Louisa was registered Jun qtr 1899.

Thanks for the research.  As the daughter of Nellie Louisa Aylott(born 1915 and still alive) knowing nothing of her parents much of the information given was already  known.  We have done a trawl of the marriages from 1902 to beyond 1915 without success although one of two quarters were missing from BMD. Other research has suggested that an Emma Jane Aylott born in Dean Beds in about 1870 may have married Frederick Charles Aylott but this is speculative!  Any local Bedfordshire information which might assist?
