I just wondered if anyone had any of the following on their family tree?
James Hancock (my g.g.g.g. grandfather) 1822-1901 married to Elizabeth Cooper 1823-1906. They had children:
Abel born 1850 and married Isabella Hill of St Helens, Lancashire (I am descended from this line and have traced this up to date). I know Abel returned for his mother's funeral in 1906.
Mary Ann c1845-1873. She married a William Wathen they had children Sarah c1869 and Elizabeth c1873.
Aaron born c1855.
Thursa born c1857 married Daniel Langford born c1856.
John c1859-1872.
Jethro c1861-1921 and married Emma Pritchard born c1861.
Edith born c1865.
As children they all lived in Blaenavon. As adults probably all lived in Monmouthshire apart from Abel who moved to Lancashire.
James Hancock moved to Yorkshire and was married a further two times.
Maria born c1857 and they had a child Harriet A. born c1876, Rawdon, Guiseley, Yorkshire.
His third wife was Martha and they had two children Rose born c1892, Manningham, Bradford and Ivy born c1900 in Leeds.
I would be interested to hear from anyone who has any of the Hancock's in their family tree or has any information on the Hancock's living in Wales.
