Searching For Benjamin VAUS

I am looking for help to find information about my Greatx6 Grandfather. His name was Benjamin Vaus, believed to have been born about 1730 (not sure where).  I also am led to believe he married Sarah Harley at St Botolphs without Aldgate in November 1762. They had a son also Benjamin born 1763. Possibly Benjamin 1730 died in 1766. There is a rumour he was also married before. Any information would be gratefully appreciated, or confirmation of these rumours.

The marriage to Rebecca BUNN looks possible for a first marriage.

Is the baptism in 1716 too early?

Thanks for all that help. I agree that the time between baptism & possible marriage is a long one.  I there any way we can find out how old he was when he died?

Wonder which was the nearest church to St Thomas Hospital?
