HARTILL family, Bilston, Staffordshire

Hi there,

I'm looking for links and descendants of Joseph Hartill (b 1795, Bliston, Staffordshire) and Anne Edwards (b 1799, Bliston, Staffordshire).

They had 6 children:  William (b 29 Dec 1822); Anne (b 23 May 1824); Catherine (b 19 Apr 1829); Mary (b 1835), and Harriet Emily (b 1837).

My 2-grand-mother was Catherine, she William Nelson Stannard in 1859, they eventually moved to Australia.

I'd like to hear from anyone else researching the same branch of the Hartill family!

ps - 24 Mar 2009, managed to trace the family back to Thomas Hartill b abt 1742, Bilston, Staffordshire, married to Esther Chambers b 1745, Bilston, Staffordshire.

could this be them in 1841 a couple of different children though.

had a look at 1851 census for this family but there is no harriet with them
could not find a harriet hartill anywhere in staffordshire.

Oh goody, that does look like them , the only person I've been able to find on a census so far was Catherine, all the other info I've got from familysearch..., after she married William Stannard - that gives me a whole new area to look into, thanks!!!
