No chance of an internet cafe for me, on the Norfolk Broads for 7 days!!!

I'm just going to take the opportunity to catch up on my reading instead.

Having had a very frustrating day with no luck with 1837 online and now Rootschat.com giving me the sorry we're busy page for an hour or so, I turned to my partner and told him that the problem is there are too many people doing family trees, they really should get out and get a life!!??

I think that way every time I see a post about the waiting time for certificates from the GRO!!  When are all you Brits going to leave your computers and get outside and enjoy your spring and summer??  ;D ;D

Rootschat hasn't refused to let me on YET, but if it does, you will probably hear the howl all the way from Australia!!!

We will go out and enjoy the spring and summer when it ARRIVES!!!!  So far we have had 2 days in Sussex when the temp has been over 20C, the rest of the time it is grey, gloomy and cool and that is in the sunny south east, so have some sympathy for poor Gadget, she's still got snow on the mountains!!!

I know you lot down under think 15C is cold but for us it's quite balmy!!!!!!

Kerry

And here in Oz, in late autumn, we have clear sunny days, max about 20 deg C, nights down to about 6 deg C.  But horribly droughty!

Well, I shall wish you all good weather so that you can leave your computers for a bit!

It's too hot outside today (22 C in the shade and rising). I'm a cold climate person. I've just had to pop in for some cool. Mind you with all this HTML and stuff, I might just pop back out - weeding is easier than growing.

I'm allways having one of those days Kerry.

Biker put a game on the ELS called the farmyard hustle, it's a logic game but looks silly because it's all furry little animals, anyway I'm addicted.  every time hubby comes home from trucking he keeps catching me playing it and says

"so this is how you spend your time, it doesn't look like family history to me?"

I can guarantee if I played it now, he would walk through the door  ::)
