CI Birth/Baptism c1817 - JEFFERY

Abraham JEFFERY, a resident in Somerset, Combe St Nicholas, recorded his place and date of birth as Jersey c1817/1818 in 1851, 1861, and 1881 but in 1871 Guernsey was recorded.  Although there were several inter-linked JEFFERY branches in South-West Somerset [CSN/Donyatt/Ilminster/Knowle St Giles] I've been unable to ascertain his parentage or siblings, if any.

Can anyone assist in locating his baptism or point me in the right direction, please?

I've gone through the indices for all the Parishes in Jersey and cannot find a birth entry for Abraham Jeffery (or different spellings). In fact I could find only one entry for a Jeffery and for what its worth it was for Mary Ann, father Daniel and mother Susanne Le Cras, baptized 4th Oct 1818.

Many thanks for trying, Stewart.  Since posting, I've ascertained his father was recorded Abraham on his marriage certificate but there is some doubt concerning his mother as the Donyatt PR records Sarah initially and then Susannah as partner to Abraham senr for this cluster of JEFFERYs.  No marriage has been located for Abraham senr to either, but the search goes on ............
