Hi Grant,

I'm not too sure what info you are looking for, but freebmd has a death entry for a George Dooley aged 89 in the December 1/4 1881 Belper district.

freebmd also has a marriage entry for a Thomas Booth and an Elizabeth Dooley in the June 1/4 1870 Belper district.

Might this be Elizabeth ?
1861
Radford Nottingham
William St
George Dooley head 42 Army pensioner Ockbrook Derby
Alice wife 37 ireland
George son 7 ireland
Elizabeth daughter 10 ireland
Elizabeth Fitzpatrick Boarder U 20 Cotton Doubler ireland
RG9 2449 16 35

is it possible this George Dooley was the son of george Dooley age 89 in 1881?
Which would make george Dooley (89) grandfather of Elizabet

Elizabeth Fitzpatrick is just described as Boarder.

Usually "Boarder" means someone who is lodging with the family, but they eat with the family and more or less live as family. On some occasions someone described as "Boarder" is related to the family , but that is not always so.

Someone decsribed as "Lodger" usually gets their own food, basically just rents a room -or bed. (but on occasions "lodgers" are related to the family they live with

Can never assume "Boarders" or "Lodgers" are related to the family they are living with.
