Okay, don't kill yourselves over this, guys
I thought my mother might have been visiting Mirfield, where my great greats came from. But I just now realised that mom might not have known that. Her dad grew up in Halifax, but we didn't have access to all this genealogy stuff, and I only started a couple of years ago. So she might not have known anything farther back than Halifax, and I doubt this is Halifax.
Also, since these photos are taken from slides, I might have flipped anything that doesn't have lettering in it, so that would complicate recognition.
I can always post the church pic separately under another thread title, if nothing comes of it...but I'm not sure it's really important. I do appreciate your brainpower, though, and many thanks for it.
