Help!  whenever I click on 'Dublin parishes' I get whizzed straight through to an Amazon site wanting me to buy 'The Dubliners'.  Which are different...Any ideas about what I can do to unhitch it?

Hi Maggott,

On which thread and which board are you having this problem?

Hi Christopher
If I go to 'Irish Counties' then to 'Dublin' then to 'Dublin Parishes' the click on that  second Dublin gets me through to Amazon

Hi Maggot,

Christopher has already explained the reason, but just to make it clearer, here is a screen shot.

The first 'Dublin' is the RootsChat link to the Dublin board.
The second 'Dublin' has been 'kidnapped' by Amazon

regards,
Bob

Hi Christopher & Bob - many thanks for explanation.  At least it's not just me.  What's the best way round it/through it- scroll through the  board?
Regards
Maggott

As long as you don't hover over the link, nothing pops up, so just make sure you only click on the RootsChat links.

These are pretty obvious, as they are either - 'stand-alone' i.e. nothing else on that line - or, if a list of counties, then ALL the counties are underlined.
And I think that only occurs on the home page anyway.
