Please share family generation photos on this thread

Photo of my mum's family at my grandparents home in Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1948.  The occaision was aunt and uncle returning home after their honeymoon.

Great grandmother is in the middle of the first row
Grandmother (her daughter) is two to the right (as we lookat it)
Grandfather is immediately behind Ggrma, with 2 daughters to the left and one to the right.  The one who looks terrified is my Mum.
And the 4th generation is the little girl at the front, cousin Jenny

The others:
Uncles and their friends in the back row
Great-aunt to left of grgma
Assorted neighbours and friends.

And my Dad's first cousin, Randy Smith, on RH end of back row.
Standing in front of him is his fiancee, Miss Jones.

Hi all,
love the photos 
this photo is a rare one, 5 generations of a female line.  It was even in the main Melbourne paper for that time.  Extremely unusual to get 4 let alone 5 generations of women or men in a straight descendant line.

It shows my gr grandmother, Mary Jane Brabon, bottom right,
her daughter Minnie, my grandmother, bottom left,
her daughter (my mum) Iris, back row left,
her daughter Beverley, my sister (back row right) and
her daughter Karen, my niece, sitting on Nanna's knee.

we have a studio pic (somewhere  ) of 4 generations of the same family

The Nanna holding the baby is the same lady in my avatar holding me and my twin.

I have this lovely picture (I hope it comes out ok here) of my mom's mom and maternal grandmother, and my dad's mom and maternal grandmother, along with my oldest brother when he was a baby.

I have photos of four generations  X 2 .....put together I then have eight generations who have lived in Australia........

Top 4 = my great great grandmother, my great grandfather, my grandmother, and my great great great grandmother (who arrived in South Australia in 1849.)

Bottom 4 = me, my grandaughter, my daughter and my mother.

 Thought you might like to see this picture of my GGGrandfather & family, They are the Shepherd  & Cooke family from Yorkshire.

The photograph was taken in 1901  & like many others posted has 4 generations

I'm so impressed with them all - this is a great thread - I like dee's 8 generations - I have 5 generations of Wedding photos - never thought of putting them all together, might try it

so did Mary Jane Brabon originate in the UK?
i never did find out from my nan re my Brabon cousins! alhtough one is called Mary Jane
