Can Rootschat help Olive ARCHER of Swindon Wiltshire?
« on: Friday 04 January 08 02:12 GMT (UK) »
A lady from Swindon, Olive Archer, died last month at age 83.  Apparently she had no visitors for five years and now the Vicar is asking for help to find any family before the funeral Jan 14th.

You know what ?  .... if I was that Vicar ..... I wouldn't even bother looking for the relatives ....
I'd have a Celebration of Life .... invite all the neighbours .... everybody at the old peoples home and the congregation ....... let balloons go ...... have a big pot of stew going .... have Big Band Sound music ..... if she's watching .... she'll LOVE it !!

If they didn't want to bother about her before .... what difference does it make now ??

God Love you Olive ... may you rest in peace !

That's awesome factfinding Karen :)

Annie Your idea is wonderful too :D :D  I wish I lived near there - I would go to her service myself.  It sounds like she had a good life - just the last bit may have been lonely poor soul :'(
Maybe the sister died before she went into the home...

I found two deaths for Lily Archer in 1992 and  1993 both born in 1916 but the month of birth doesn't match.  She must have married.
