Hi, I'm looking for any information on Maria Timothy, born in Llangeler (Wales) abt 1791, who is my great great great grandmother. Would like to know who she was married to as most of my family are either Evans or Jones

I am a bit puzzled by your request! Usually we work backwards, so we know who our ancestors were married to but perhaps not their maiden names!  ;D

How did you come by the information that Maria is your ancestor?

Carmarthenshire doesn't have much in the way of records online, as you have no doubt discovered but I will move this thread to the county board in the hope that one of our regulars has some resources or is visiting the record office.

Meanwhile, if you can give us a bit more detail?
