New Ulster Archaeology Database
« on: Wednesday 09 January 08 15:41 GMT (UK) »
Hi there,

I hope I've posted in the correct bit, I'm new here, mods please put this where is should be.

There is a project being planned that will result in an online, map-based, database of Ulster's historical buildings. Each location will be clickable and will provide user contributed (mostly local historical groups) historical info as well as high quality photographs.

The project is currently seeking funding and has a petition. I would encourage as many people as possible to sign the petition as that this valuable resource can be made available.

The link is http://www.lynx2ulster.com/archaeology.php and it has great sample pics too. (they're beautiful!)

Here's to a great resource!

Hello again,

According to the webmaster a good number of people have been visiting the above link, but so far only 1 person has actually signed the petition.

I'd urge people to please support this project.

In case people are worried about giving their email address away, don't worry, supplying it is optional.
