Hi,
I am looking for James Patterson 28 and wife Nancy, in particular i am looking for the birthplace of James.
Any help would be really apreciated

I was hoping for a place in Ireland,

1841 census he was born in Ireland
1851 haven't found him yet
1861 Whitehaven
1871 Devarns Rock ???
1881 Whitehaven
1891 Whitehaven
1901 Whitehaven

They dont make it easy do they, this is a copy of his birthplace in the 1871 census

Hi Joan,
he died 1909 in Maryport , he was still in Distington in 1901

Sorry my mistake they were in Netherhall in 1901
