If i remember rightly the original wreck divers were hired to find the The Titanic so they were paid.They were not however allowed to keep anything,because as you know the ship is being preserved with the original timbers.It will take many more years to rebuild it,it would be nice if bits of the ship, taken as souvenirs (crockery not included :)) by divers were given back to the people restoring the ship.There are quiet a few people in Cheshire who lost relatives their names are on the grave stones in the cemetery or they are mentioned on one. I wonder how their descendent's feel? or the family they left behind.
