Patrick MOORE born 30 November 1807 County Carlow.  died 16 April 1889 Wilton NSW, Australia. Transported: 20 January 1830, on 'James Pattison'.  Tried Meath 11 August 1828 for horse stealing and sentenced to 7 years transportation.  Aged 22 yrs, could neither read or write, said he was a native of County Carlow his occupation was a ploughman. He had no previous convictions was 5' 6½" in height of ruddy complexion and brown hair and hazel eyes.  Marks; slight scar on point of nose left side.
