TREDEGAR HIBERNIAN Rugby Club 1910

Here's a photo of my wife's grandfather, Thomas Watkins (on the right of the man with the ball as you look at it). The team is Tredegar Hibernians RFC and in 1910 they won the Rhymney Valley Lower League (photo by G G Powell). There are 26 medals on the shield indicating a long tradition...but unfortunately I have been unable to find any information regarding this team. Any help gratefully received. Jim
