POLAND: How would I find?

I don't have a lot of info on them but the i have 1 name. It is Tadeusz Frontczak. I am assuming he was born in poland and came over as a youngster as no birth record found. He was born 1925 and married in sheffield uk in 1956. He married Geraldine Ogden. He died 1990 in Sheffield. That is all I know about the family. It is a new line I am following. Thanks Lynette

I have G*****d the name - comes up mostly in Poland - will see if I can find anything that will give me a translation.

I have just had another thought - was he nationalised?
   
Without having anything to go on, it will be quite difficult - just like the people looking for their German ancestors.

I don't know. Would he have had to have been nationalised to get married over here? Lynette

That is something that I do not know.  I wouldn't think so.

Perhaps someone else knows an anwer to that.

I know that I am not much help, but haven't been down this road before 

Might be worth looking at other posts to see how they have gone about searching for their ancestors.  Although, thinking about it, most are searching for people who came over to England sometime earlier than your Tadeusz!

I just found your post and am the great-granddaughter of Tadeusz Frontczak's sister Helena. I am interested in genealogy and my grandparents told me a lot about him. He is known in the family as "uncle from England". We know a lot about him and my grandmother would also be very happy to reconnect since she knew his kids, when they were kids.
