I need some help with Thomas LOWE, son of Joseph Lowe.  He married Annie PARKIN at the Register Office in the district of Teesdale in 1889. Their family was Margaret Elizabeth m John Charles Wake; James Hodgson who died aged about 17 years old; Thomas William, my grandfather and Nancy who married // Armstrong. 

At one time they were at Salter Burn Farm, Butterknowle.  Does anyone know where this is/was?

Where would I be able to see the baptism/burial records for this area?

A lot of questions, but I really need to find out the parentage of Thomas Lowe.

Butterknowle from 1848 was in the Parish of Lynesack, Registration District Auckland.

Helen, Thanks for the response and the time you have taken to help me.  I appreciate it.  Annie's parents were James Hodgson PARKIN and Nancy as shown on the 1881 Census.  There were so many Parkins so Christopher is probably related somehow.
