There is a will of John Wells of Ullesthorpe in 1768

He mentions:-
Isaac, son, £10
John Wells, son, £2
Peter Wells, son £2
Sarah Nichols, daughter, £2 (she married William Nichols on 7 Oct 1761 in Claybrook. Isaac Wells was a witness)
Elizabeth Bagshaw, daughter, £2 (she married Edward Bagshaw of Ashby Magna on 5 Jul 1754 in Claybrook)
Catherine - wife £4 annuity

Isaac also made a will in 1797.

Thank you very much for that extremely interesting information on their wills,it is also interesting to note that the families seemed to like to pass a lot of the same Christian names down to the next generation,thank you very much David

Hello,I am hoping to get information on one of my ancestors,his name was Thomas wells,I know he was born in ullesthorpe in 1688,he was married to Mary fass in 1706 in wigston,his father I think was Robert,I think Thomas had a son called John,thank you for any help you can give me,Dean
