Hi I'm knew to this but I am trying to trace my family back to ireland the wynn's spelt differently in each census Thomas born about 1834 Galway Ireland married to Annie and living in Greatbridge Stafford Walsall foreign I have a marriage cert for Thomas and Ann 1858 married walsall Catholic church father listed as John wynne Husbandman any one any details on tracing the family in ireland?

Irish research in general is difficult, if not impossible, unless you know where the family lived - parish if not townland name not just the county. You also need to know the family's religion to look for church records, civil marriage records, etc.
With the above information you can then start looking for siources available in the country or parish like census fragments (first complete census for Ireland is 1901), land records, church records, etc.
