I have just received marriage certificate.
Guess what - William and Mary were married in Bushey, Hertfordshire!

The confusion arose because the original Australian researcher found a reference to Bushey on the registrations of the births of the children in Melbourne.

It shows that one should never make assumptions and should check everything!

And it has been my turn to expand my knowledge of the geography of this country.

William's occupation is given as Minister on the certificate so I shall try and find out what church he was involved with here and why he went to Australia.
