Thats what I like about on here, the different interpretations people come up with . As you see in the last two posts , Cazza's summery light and colours and my more darkened one , it must be the weather. Then again , I can make doom and gloom out of most things.

Keith,

I think what makes your photos look so good , is not just the subjects  :P , but the quality of the photography.

I couldn't agree more with you Jim,

Perhaps it's peoples' moods when they colour.......light, dark, happy, sad?!

I love them all...they make such a great difference and they will save me a fortune in wallpaper ;)

As for the quality of the photography well... I don't think you can get a better example of how to photograph a child than the first picture here....

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,281340.0.html

I have always wondered why the Victorians dressed their boy children in dresses?

Of course - I do have lots of grotty snaps!....taken with box brownies in the 1920s and 30s, but they are still just as valuable I suppose - just lower quality and content - it's just that I love the Victorian "studio" or "cabinet" photos the best ;D and lucky to have so many!

Cheers
