Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.

In the original post, Keith mentioned the photo was taken in 1928 and that she married in 1938. Then I noticed the ring, thought perhaps she had a secret first marriage  ;)

10 year engagement though  :o :o :o and a beautiful lady like that... lucky the chap never had her stolen from under his nose while he made his mind up to set a date.

Thanks everyone for the comments about Gt. Aunt Myfanwy...why she waited so long to marry is a mystery. I do know that she had no children though. She became a pillar of the Llandrindodd  Wells community in later life and was popular with authors/journalists wanting to know about the town in the 1920s and 30s. Whenever I went to see her, she insisted on feeding me to the point where I couldn't move!! "More cake is it - Keithy bach?!!" :) :)
